If ever there was a ‘kayaking trip of the year’ This is it!
A unique experience of steep creek kayaking culminated with large volume river kayaking, all in 2 days!
Kickstarting the weekend off, we will be Rafting/Kayaking on the mighty Tugela River as we get there on Saturday. After Rafting, enjoy the rolling green lawn at camp, fish, relax and soak up natures beauty into the sunset. A peaceful night fire will blaze throughout the night, making way for good conversation, drinks, music and a starry night sky..
Sunday day, we will head up to the top of the Mfongozi Tributary and experience the beauty and magnitude of a multitude of cascading slides and drops into large open pools.
Abseiling into a pool next to a cascading waterfall is a highlight of this trip, as well as bum-sliding, and kayaking the friendly once in a lifetime Pool Drop series below the larger drops of the Mfongozi!
Sunday afternoon will be left for soaking up the scenery, fishing, and enjoying the rewards of an exciting fulfilling weekend laid past!
